I could not install or format the M2. I think my AM3/FX MSi 970A mobo is the real problem, it will probably work on AM4. At boot, Windows 7 tried to install M2 but failed. Device Manager named it a PCI device (instead of hard drives) with a yellow problem icon. I've tried to get a driver update from WUpdate and Mobo Chipset Disc with no success. M2 was not recognized at all in Windows Disk Management, Seagate DiscWizard and Patriot PCIe Tool Box. Ordered Viper with Windows 10 Pro. W10, installation aborted while formatting. I uninstalled the Viper and replaced it with a new Patriot Burst SSD and installed the W10 with no issues. The website mentions that the W7 or 8 may require a driver, but it wasn't included in the package and wasn't available on the website.
