I bought this air purifier out of brand loyalty as I didn't know anything about this product but loved Cuisinart. Right after opening the box I pulled it up and down and then plugged it in. It worked in less than 5 minutes! Replacing the 4-sided cartridge is very easy. I don't have to worry as they are rated for 2500 hours of use. The red light will illuminate to let you know it's time for a replacement. It is very easy to pull out and insert the new filter unit. I can't wait to get some cleaner air in my home. Blue ultraviolet light also adds another level of purification. The control panel is well lit and easy to understand. Very quiet. I think fan speeds 2 and 3 would be ideal for me. Speed 4 moves a lot of air, so if it's in a really big room, 4 is a good choice, and it's not very noisy either, which is a big plus. Good luck with your decision.
