Best Budget Earphones

This will be a 3x review. This is an initial review, 90 day and one year ownership. The price when I bought these headphones was 12.99. First I bought these headphones on a whim, I've been searching the market for wireless headphones for over a year after years of frustration with wireless in-ear headphones for everyday listening. At work I use the Sennheiser H280 Pro every day, a fantastic headset but with limited wired connectivity. Studio quality sound reproduction and I appreciate the unbiased equalization and sound quality. I was looking for something similar in a set of wireless headphones that weren't too expensive. I checked out 12.99 it can't hurt and I didn't believe the reviews they seemed too good to be true. I figured I could return them or pay the cost if they suck. I have 48 hours of possession and am shocked. The Good: - Battery life, someone else mentioned this in their review. I have 8 hours of continuous use and they are still going. I use them paired with my laptop all day and they still work. They underestimate and overestimate battery life. The battery life is 100% all day - design, layout are smart and functional. This isn't an attempt to be too smart, just a decent set of headphones. Comfort, pads on the sides are above average, perfect for hours of casual listening. However, if you have a rounder head you will look ridiculous as the sides curve decently. If that bothers you, wear Benny. Poor audio quality, look for $13 less than the pizza deal advertised on TV. Does Revain have worse sounding headphones? Yes. On Bluetooth they sound flat, there is no soundstage, the back, mids and highs are not clear. Playback is disabled for cymbals, guitar treble, and high frequency instruments such as violins, flutes, etc. This actually affects the playback of bass and drum notes. Again, given the price, this can help if you need a kit to work with or just a disposable pad. However, it lacks power and there is some distortion. I suspect some of them managed to save money. Additionally, the over 3.5mm jack allows the headset to go a notch or two ahead of Bluetooth audio. The 3.5mm cable in the box is a bit short and not a long-term solution as it generates static electricity if touched or moved during connection. Audio cuts out at 50% volume, don't expect mute. They're technically closed, but they're bleeding everywhere. Materials, it's one of the most durable cheap plastics I've come across but it seems to get the job done. It will be interesting to see how they hold up over the long term. The USB cable is very short (6 inches) and comes without a charger. Will I buy them again? Heck yes, for 12.99 they are great, perfect for keeping in your backpack or on your desk. If you lose them, what's the difference. If it's a break, who cares. Ideal for conversational audio (podcasts, vlogs, how-to's) and suitable for audio.

Pros

Cons
