I bought size 12 for my very skinny 12 year old daughter. Height 5ft 1in, weight 90lbs. The tie was missing, the box was obviously open, but the suit was back. The jacket was tight but comfortable. The material of the pants is also very thin. The jacket is lined, which helps a little. I think for a costume or a one off event it might be ok in a pinch. I would recommend ordering a size or two larger, or larger depending on your child's build. The cut is slim, so keep that in mind when ordering. I reconfigure it and choose a different brand.
