If you hesitate between buying the Rega Planer 1 or Music Hall, that's no problem. Get the music hall. I bought two planes and ended up returning due to noisy engines and a faulty hint system. The materials for the planner felt cheap and the workmanship wasn't as good as the Music Hall. The music hall is more adjustable and has more features such as leveling feet, anti-roll adjustment, and fits any secondary cartridge. This is a beautiful turntable and you will not regret buying it. The cartridge it comes with sounds very, very good and while the tonearm supports aftermarket cartridges I have no plans to replace the original cartridge.
