Ever since we went to the Sams Club, my husband and I don't buy many plastic bags these days. I used to use them to clean trays so I needed a replacement and something biodegradable. I have 6 trays and 7 cats. I shovel out the trash twice a day, sometimes 3-4. The first scoop of the day is usually the biggest (sounds like picking veggies doesn't it), the bag still held up well, but when I got to the 6th drawer I had to be careful because it was filling up. . My shoulder blade is also wide, so I had to put my bag on the ground and make sure I was aiming. I accidentally missed several times. When I was done I was able to tie the bag shut and it didn't tear or break when I took it outside to throw it away. I'd say it was about an 8 pound bag when I finished. It worked and I'm happy. I would buy them again but wouldn't mind if they were wider so I don't overshoot when pouring a spoon.
