Review on 🔧 Nite Ize FAMT-03-01 Tool Holster: Stretchable & Black - A Product Review by Shane Black

This holster is a lot better than the cheap nylon pouches that usually come with multipliers and is about half the price in exchange (compared to buying from the manufacturer). I use this mount. for my Gerber Center Drive. I'm not particularly happy with the multipliers (crushed wire cutters, no scissors, lost a bit; story for another review), but I like this Nite Ize holster. It fits both the rather thick Gerber center drive and the thick bit holder that came with the tool. The center drive was a little tight at first, but broke pretty quickly. I keep the bit strip that came with the tool behind the "shield" where the male part of the snap is located). Despite the fact that the bit holder protrudes from the bottom of the shield (seen in the photos) I have never dropped either of them in a year of use (thanks to both the rubber bit holder and holster). Nite Ize plastic belt hooks have always (in over 15 years of use) been very strong and will not come loose unless you make a very conscious effort to remove them from your belt. Their stiff belt hooks generally don't tip as much as the nylon belt loops that usually come with multitools. I can't fault anything about the mount.
