Exactly what I needed
Much better quality than what my Seagate 5TB originally came with. I bought this hard drive to expand storage for my gaming console. It worked fine for a while, but then my console started to recognize the external drive only about 30% of the time. I found myself constantly powering both devices until the console recognized it. In the end I had 3 options; Replace the console, replace the hard drive, or replace the cable. Looking for a cheaper option, I started with a cable. This solved the problem immediately. The cable is stronger, shorter and much more reliable than the original. I'm very glad that's all it takes.
