This part fit like a glove and snapped into place just as easily. I was skeptical when I read some of the reviews about how easy it is to install, but they are absolutely right. It took me no more than 10 minutes to remove and install my old mirror (which was left over from the failed bus meetup). The wiring is done via a plug connection, so that no special electrical knowledge is required for the correct connection. Just plug the wire connector on the mirror into the connector that connects to the car, tighten the screws and you're done. By the way, the cover for the mirror is in the box, it is also put on. Just don't throw the box away until you've removed the lid (otherwise your mirror will look like something out of the Terminator).
