I used felt pads for my kitchen chairs and tables in my living room. They work exactly as described. The plastic tips on the legs of my kitchen chair were wearing out, leaving scratches on the floor. I applied these pads and I no longer scratch. Adhesion is strong and all I had to do was peel and stick. I have also used them on the two side tables in my living room where there is carpet on the floor and they no longer slide around.
