Got this for my son who plays minecraft and wants to communicate with his cousin from around the world in South Africa via discord. The laptop didn't work because his cousin complained that he couldn't hear my son. It made a HUGE difference. I feel like I almost want to steal it for Zoom meetings as the quality is impeccable. You have to try to keep it away from external speakers or you'll experience feedback, but that's true of any cardioid microphone. Installation was a breeze since it's USB and just plug and play with Windows. I love that you can also easily mute the sound with the large on/off button right on the front panel. A good thing
