I actually bought a Pixelbook during Black Friday and thought I got a great deal. Then Cyber Monday came along and the Spin 13 was selling for the same price ($699) so I bought one and thought I'd check it out and choose either that or the Pixelbook. Well I did my comparison and I really like Acer. The Pixelbook is undoubtedly a quality build, being thinner, slightly lighter and "prettier". Spin 13 is a TANK. It feels solid in the hands and doesn't feel like you're holding a fragile piece of jewelry like the Pixelbook does. I'm sending my pixelbook back to Bestbuy and sticking with Spin 13. The only thing that's better about the pixelbook is its size and the display could be brighter. But to be honest, the brightness of the display didn't really matter as I never rocked with the display on the highest settings anyway. So at normal settings for me, around 50%, the screen is just great. Turning on the maximum brightness on any laptop is too much. The Pixelbook is also lighter. But surprisingly not much easier. I thought it would actually be a lot easier, and it really isn't that much of a compromise. I really hope Dbrand will release some skins for it that will make Spin 13 the best.
