I got this cheese board after the other two broke after their first use. I opened this one and used it that same night. I love that it has a hidden storage drawer for the knives so they don't swim with my other gear. Excellent quality bamboo. I already have a bamboo cutting board that I love so I knew if it was of good quality it would last. The knives are well sharpened; In previous sets, my knives broke when cutting cheese. Everything goes like butter. Love the added bonus of indentations on the sides for adding crackers so they fall all over the board and the two small cups are perfect for olives/nuts or jams/compotes. Please note that there will be a slight smell when you first open it. package, but after lathering I didn't notice. Maybe it was the smell of the bamboo itself. However, after wiping it down before use, the smell went away. I look forward to using this board for many wine and cheese nights in the future!
