Transition lenses don't transition at all. I've had the lenses for a week now and there is no difference in the tint whether I'm in direct sunlight, in the shade/low light or at night. The lenses themselves are of good quality and make excellent sunglasses. As someone who has ordered transitional lenses because they must wear z87 approved glasses at all times, I expected them to perform as advertised. I'm still changing out my tinted glasses for clear lenses. I will update this review as soon as I have a chance to try the warranty claim. UPDATE: It has been 37 days since customer service informed me that they would send new lenses to replace my broken ones. Replacement lenses have not yet arrived and the company is refusing to send another set. My original lenses still work like sunglasses. I would NOT buy transitional lenses and would expect quick service from their customer service department. UPDATE 2: It has been over 60 days since purchase and I still haven't received my replacement lenses. The guarantee will not be honored until I change my rating to a 5 star rating.
