No Sunglasses and eyewear accessories

One lens fits well, the other doesn't fit at all. Looking through the lenses I don't believe they are polarized despite what the listing says. Visual quality ah. Overall I would say this is a big disappointment. Update: After I posted this review, the company contacted me and offered to send me another set of lenses if I revise my review. They sent me another pair of lenses and they are about the same as the first pair. The lenses are indeed polarized, but not nearly as colorful as Oakley's…

Fantastic value for money

I've seen some bad reviews of these lenses but I don't understand them. Mine fit my tightropes perfectly, have more clarity than the originals and the polarization is perfect for fishing etc. Great quality and very well protected for shipping. Will buy again and again - thanks guys!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Doubtful

I was hesitant to make this purchase but.

These are excellent interchangeable lenses. Slightly thinner and lighter than Oakley lenses, but the visual quality is pretty darn similar, if not noticeably different. Carefully packed. An aftermarket lens, yes, but not a cheap fake. I will most likely be buying another one or two in different colors as they are becoming increasingly difficult to find and Oakley frames will last forever.

  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good but weak polarization.

Good for my rope frame. One side was a little tight and the frame didn't close completely. Maybe a grain of sand got stuck in the frame. The polarization is rather weak, maybe 1/3 of the previous lenses.

and the lenses were quite scratched

I've had Oakley Tightropes for about 6 years now and the lenses were quite scratched. Oakley no longer makes these sunglasses, so they don't make replacement lenses either. They came quickly, in a small bag that was inside the box that was inside a padded envelope, so don't worry about any damage. I tried to put the first lens in, it didn't fit. No matter how hard I squeezed or tried to get it in place, it just didn't fit. I held it up to the lens I had just removed and they looked the same…

Better than my originals

The lenses themselves are better than the original I had. They are so good that I will now try to find an Oakley Tightrope sunglass frame to have on hand if mine ever breaks. (These are the only type of sunglasses that don't give me a headache. When my eyes see a slit, my eyes subconsciously focus on that slit and my head hurts.) I just want to know sooner. because my lens was in very bad condition. However, there were no instructions for changing the lens. I eventually figured out that you…

Poor quality and no guarantee

Transition lenses don't transition at all. I've had the lenses for a week now and there is no difference in the tint whether I'm in direct sunlight, in the shade/low light or at night. The lenses themselves are of good quality and make excellent sunglasses. As someone who has ordered transitional lenses because they must wear z87 approved glasses at all times, I expected them to perform as advertised. I'm still changing out my tinted glasses for clear lenses. I will update this review as soon…

Revitalized my old ropes. very satisfied

Just unpacked these lenses for my tightropes (also bought a Half Jacket 2.0 XL and wrote a similar review). I have had glasses for several years, the original lenses are scratched in the field of vision. For $29+bucks, I wasn't expecting much. but to my great surprise they are still great. They come in a nice little drawstring pouch where the lenses are separated between them by fabric. The bag is in a sturdy cardboard box that will definitely not break during shipping. The hard box is then in…
