Review on Amicc Magnetic Brush Algae Scraper Cleaner for Glass Aquarium Fish Tank - Floats and Curves (Large) by Samantha Carlisle

This item looks like an effective well made magnetic cleaner. However, a few minutes after it arrived, I opened it up and began cleaning my $400 SeaClear acrylic tank, which is a month old. Literally minutes after I started I was horrified to see EACH CAPRAL sliding back and forth, up and down the outside of my new acrylic tank. At first I thought it would only be indoors where the seaweed is cleaned but no. Every foil of the outer wearable part is scratched where it was. I took a quick look at the wearable part to see what went wrong and what caused the damage. I couldn't find anything obvious or significant that could cause such damage. I believe it was just a plastic burr or dirt from the manufacturing process, but the damage has been done and I won't risk it with this item. again. After all, this would have worked fine on a glass potholder, but it ruined my new acrylic tank.
