Having been in a jeep with a dead pedal and now having just completed a long trip (1800 miles) I decided it was time to get it. Made sure I got the same make as the jeep I was in as it was very comfortable to accommodate. I spoke to him yesterday and then found his review. After reading the reviews and some buyers' mentions of installation difficulties, I was ready. It was very easy to install. It was possible to unscrew it with a simple ratchet socket wrench. I put the pre-assembled one in place and then reinstalled it but to keep it in place. Took me maybe 15 minutes total. Even goes well with jeep slush mats!
