We bought a Moroccan style chandelier in Spain with European fittings so I had to replace them with these so I could fit E12 candelabra bulbs in the fitting. I finally found her. Your wires are slightly longer for the application I need them for, although I'm sure there are other hobbyists out there that are happy with that length. They fitted the threaded connection very well and didn't need any buoyancy. I soldered the wires from the lamp to the socket and then put heat shrink tubing on the connection. I turned on the chandelier after all five outlets were installed and there wasn't a single problem. Here are the main features I liked about the sockets: - Good solid plastic, doesn't feel cheap - Threaded metal mount - Plenty of wire to work with (although I don't need it) - Threaded socket allows for easy installation
