more than enough for an average monitor and just right for my behemoth

Search online for mounts that can support the weight of my 49" Dell monitor (ultra wide below). Everyone said that the really expensive Ergotron ($300, but admittedly very nice) was practically the only option. I've seen a few people get away with it, but with different tradeoffs. I decided to try anyway. I'm glad I did it because it works great! As others have said, I had to adjust the weight of the lever significantly with an Allen wrench, but there's still room and it holds it without sagging at all. It's been sitting in the same place for months now and I haven't had any issues with sagging, sagging etc. However, it's not very firm and that may be because I need to adjust it more, so shaking the table hard will shake the monitor . but I feel like it's a combination of adjustments I need to make to balance such a heavy monitor. The freedom of movement is good and sufficient for pretty much everyone. All hands are slightly off-center unless you move the table slightly away from the wall. Swivel and height adjustment are very smooth, without friction or noise. The height adjustment works very well, keeping my monitor level as it moves up and down and is also very smooth. I have to adjust my swivel a little more because of the awkward angle it sits at, but it's still fine. Easily attaches to the table and as long as you tighten it enough there is no sagging or tipping from the base. for all. The cable management area at the base of the monitor is also a nice feature. It doesn't hold a lot of cables to be honest, but it's enough for the average person, and it will definitely do if you don't plan on connecting every peripheral to the monitor like I did. It took maybe 10 minutes or less to assemble. and 30 minutes max to measure, assemble and set up my monster monitor in a good place. I'm still playing around with it to this day, so I didn't forget to write this review. It's so versatile that the lack of a massive 49-inch monitor stand leaves plenty of desk space for other things, as well as additional mounting options for more monitors. I am very happy with the purchase and if anyone had a 32" ultra wide monitor or larger I would suggest they treat themselves to the comfort and ease of use of the premium Revain Basics monitor arm.
