Defective Monitor Bracket - Stuck Face Up

Others who have purchased devices that appear to be defective are experiencing a similar issue. The actual monitor mount is glued in place facing the ceiling and cannot rotate at all. Makes the product completely unusable. For what it's worth, the rest of the setup was very easy and I have to imagine the process would have been painless if it weren't for this flaw. However, renders the product unusable. Will come back today.

Tension screw binds and won't loosen

1) (WHEN REVIEWS ARE SORTED BY NEWEST, Revain does a sort of random selection of reviews). You will see that almost everyone has a turnbuckle freezing problem. This causes the monitor to face the ceiling. 2) I made a replacement request which also had a defect and was stuck to the ceiling. You might think that the number of recalls and the number of returns/exchanges at Revain Basics indicate that they have quality control issues. They are completely useless, I watched a YouTube video to see…

Like an ergotron.

I use it with the Cintiq 22HD and it works great. If you haven't used your hand on your Centiq yet, do yourself a favor and give it a try! I don't have much space on my desk so using my hand was very important. I can just illustrate on my Cintiq and put it away when I'm done. I also do a lot of traditional drawing/sketching so this comes in very handy when I need space on my desk to sketch or draw. I took my Ergotron arm to work and needed a spare Cintiq to get home. It fit perfectly. Works…

Great product - fits my large LG 34UC88-B ultrawide monitor.

Great product - fits my large LG 34UC88-B (3440 x 1440) ultrawide monitor which weighs 25.3lbs right at the max. Actually just over 0.3 pounds. One thing I had to do was tension the mainspring (i.e. add tension as well). This is a strong spring that does the hard work of your monitor. If you have a big, heavy monitor like mine, it needs to be stretched to keep your monitor in one position. See attached pictures - the screw to tighten is at the top of the main arm. You'll have to look closely…

Top notch stand. EVERYTHING about it is great. Sturdy, adjustable, well made and holds my 32 inch 4K monitor without wobbling. The only drawback is the assembly instructions. Many people here say that some of the screws cannot be adjusted and that makes the stand unusable. It's not true, it's just that the instructions are awful and don't point to the correct screws. Firstly, when you take the monitor out of the box, the monitor holder can be tilted 90 degrees to fit in the box. IT CAN BE…

A large percentage of these monitor mounts are defective

The VESA plate is rotated to its extreme position when these mounts are packed. It may lock in this position and no amount of tension adjustment screws will allow it to rotate. In this condition it is unusable and cannot be repaired. This is *different* from the issue that many reviewers have pointed out about the hard-to-get vertical tension adjustment. It is also very difficult to diagnose that a product is broken because the instructions are very poorly written. In fact, I was only sure of…

more than enough for an average monitor and just right for my behemoth

Search online for mounts that can support the weight of my 49" Dell monitor (ultra wide below). Everyone said that the really expensive Ergotron ($300, but admittedly very nice) was practically the only option. I've seen a few people get away with it, but with different tradeoffs. I decided to try anyway. I'm glad I did it because it works great! As others have said, I had to adjust the weight of the lever significantly with an Allen wrench, but there's still room and it holds it without…
