When I first received the toy I was very pleased at how addicted my cat and kitten were to it, but I soon felt that it had several serious flaws . 1) The little ones are nagging, although the instructions say the beetle corrects itself if flipped, this is actually not the case. It gets stuck in a corner or upside down and needs to be lifted and fixed 2) Also when caring for the cat the back of the toy comes off very easily which I found out quickly. I took it off my cats at a few chews quickly and swallowed about half before I could put their hands inside, though I watched them play with the toy. This happened very quickly, so the lid came off very easily. .2 is the main disadvantage. This is a huge safety hazard, not to mention the tiny battery inside, which is also easily eaten by a cat. Details shouldn't come out so easily. Plastic and batteries can be very dangerous for your cats. Not recommended unless your cat likes to catch with its mouth. A bit disappointed that they didn't think about the safety of our pets.
