Review on WALI Dual Side Clamping Bookshelf Speaker Wall Mounting Bracket for Large Surrounding Sound Speakers, 55 lb Capacity, Black (SWM201) by Ronnie Segobiano

What a wonderful find! in brackets

These WALI bookshelf speaker wall brackets were purchased for a wide range of reference Klipsch RB-61 bookshelf speakers. These speakers measure 12.3 inches (D) x 8.5 inches (W) x 15.4 inches (H) and weigh approximately 35 pounds per pair (18 pounds per speaker). Choosing a wall mount that could support her size and weight was a challenge. , I didn't want anything that would bend or pull out of the wall. I also didn't want to add support screws to the side of the speaker to hold it to the wall mount. These are brand new speakers and I wanted them to stay that way. After carefully reviewing all the mounts on Revain, I chose the WALI brand mainly based on the positive reviews. I'm so glad I did! The brackets arrived yesterday and I installed them straight away. As others have pointed out, they must be installed in wall studs. Hardware for attaching to wood and brick is included. They are not suitable for mounting in metal posts or concrete blocks. You probably can, but you'll need to provide your own mounting solution. Installing the speakers was easy. Use a stud finder to locate the stud, pla Install the mounting plate on the wall and mark the holes, then drill small pilot holes Screw the plates into the studs. The plate has two holes for the included screws. One is tall enough to use an electric screwdriver/drill to install a screw. The other screw is very close to the support arm. My drill was too big to drive the screw next to the support arm. This screw had to be tightened by hand. For this reason, at least the mounting hole on the support arm must be pre-drilled. I was very pleased to see how the speaker held onto the bracket. Each speaker terminal has an adjustable screw, one on each side where the speaker will sit. Tightening or loosening these screws will retract and extend the clamps. So these clamps use pressure to hold the speaker in place. After installing the wall brackets (which took about an hour) I placed the speaker onto the bracket and tightened the clamp to ensure it held perfectly! Even with the 35 pound speakers, the clamp was tight enough to hold the speaker in place with no issues. My speakers are relatively flat, slightly tilted downwards. Although there are screw holes in the clamp for screwing screws into the sides of the speakers, I found this wasn't necessary in my setup. Incidentally, the screws for this are included with the speaker brackets. If you need to install them with extra screw bracket, no need to buy screws. I am very satisfied with this product. The supports are of high quality, the metal is thick, all the hardware is there, the documentation is in order, the speakers hold tight. Best of all, the price is great. What more could I ask for?
