Review on πŸ’― Enhance Your Watch with Ritche Watch Strap Buckle Premium: A Perfect Blend of Style and Functionality by Marcus Dortch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good strap, bad strap.

First, depending on how you wear it, it either works or it doesn't. I will describe and explain two methods. In this review I am referring to the Army Green/Khaki kit. I have a 7 inch wrist which I think is pretty average. Method 1: This band is constructed like a 5-ring band. The correct way to wear a 5 ring strap is to thread the main strap through both links and then back. via the link above (see my photos). The reason for this is to relieve the main band so the spring bars don't put pressure on it if it gets stuck. There are many topics on the internet that describe in detail the usefulness and purpose for this. That's the main reason I bought these straps and unfortunately that's not what they're designed for, although they're made for that. Wearing them this way will naturally decrease the length of the strap. during work and I found myself using the very wide/last hole on the strap. 1/5 stars because the strap length is not matched to the 5 ring technique they were designed for. The band is uncomfortable with this method, but this can vary depending on your wrist. Method 2: This method is how you would wear the band if it was "NATO standard" with only 4 rings. With this method you simply thread the main band through the rings and then attach it (see my drawings). This is how the straps are shown in the advertised photos and thus the strap serves the purpose. Unfortunately, this defeats the purpose of an extra ring and makes the strap unnecessarily bulky. 4/5 stars because the extra ring serves no purpose. Such a harness is comfortable but less secure due to the pressure on the spring bars. Conclusion: If you are looking for a functional 5-ring bracelet that protects your watch, then this bracelet is NOT for you. However, if you're looking for a traditional NATO strap and don't mind an extra ring, then these straps are great. They are comfortable, easy to change and look very nice. The material will take some time to unwind and loosen up, so keep that in mind. The brushed brushed steel feels comfortable and goes very well with my watch. I bought these specifically for my Timex Expedition which I use as a rugged watch. I've added a picture with an army green strap, but both colors go very well with the watch. I am happy to answer any further questions about my review or the product itself.
