I bought it white but it matched the wall too well so I painted it black. It's metal so it was easy and only took 2 coats, front and back. The included hangers are easy to use. The "hammer" they supply is not very good, I used my own. They don't hang straight/flat - they curve very slightly so their undersides stick out of the wall. I can't fix the bottom because then it's too tight against the wall to use the brackets. I wanted this to replace the traditional (cork) bulletin board. But it's not as functional as you have to attach the clips behind the wires. When they're on, it's fine if you don't want to move them, but moving them is inconvenient. In general everything is fine. It looks good. Not as functional as I had hoped.
