I bought this to use in tactical combat at extremely long range, typically from 25 yards to over 1100 yards. You never know what the ranges will be until you get to the game and it's your turn to run. I wanted to replace my 10 year old Bushnell 600 yard rangefinder which actually works up to about 850 on flat steel targets like the gong targets we use. However, LaserWorks does NOT work better than my Bushnell. I sent the LW version to a box in the garage where other old bugs from my past are dying. or rust. or simply forgotten and written off as experience. On the other hand, it probably works well enough for par 4 and shorter golf.
