A buzzing is heard periodically through the HDMI interface

I ordered this TV box on the recommendation of "Choice Revane". But after connecting it to my display via HDMI, both the supplied one and my own, there's a kind of buzzing noise in the display speaker every time I don't touch the remote after about 10 seconds. The buzzing goes away momentarily when I press the remote control. I suspect that the HDMI interface could be defective. I have returned the product and will look for a different prefix.
