I have a professional Bosch rotary hammer but it comes with a limited set of SDS bits. Since I often use this tool like a regular drill, it made sense to buy this adapter and add some versatility. My general rule of thumb for drill bit parts is if you think they're bent, they probably are. Only one other reviewer mentioned that it would rock, so in a sea of everything I dismissed that as the bad part. It happens. Then I got mine, and I'm afraid it couldn't be closer to the truth. The adapter looks nice, the workmanship is fine, but as soon as I rotated it, it seemed to me that the entire cartridge was bent internally or misaligned. To check this I drilled 2 pilot holes with 5/32" and 1/2" bits. They were closer to 1/4" and 5/8" respectively. Disappointed and returned quickly. Instead, I'll use the original keyless chuck and save myself the hassle.
