This travel version of Connect 4 is the perfect size for stashing in a luggage/backpack or in tight spaces (e.g. cruise ship packing, camping, etc.). I keep our game in a zip-lock bag and take it to restaurants, on the boat and on trips. Because the parts are small, I wouldn't use them in a car or plane. The lower part is foldable and the parts are placed in practical side frames. To play, pull a piece from the side rack, play and when you're done press the toggle button to make all the pieces fall into the lower shelf. Just place the pieces back in the side bin and stack! This is a great game to teach strategy and kids. My DD5+ turned out quite well! Only criticism: the lid on top of the side bins (where you keep the parts) sometimes comes off. But it's easy to put back on.
