I understand that the pieces of the stone may differ in color and intensity from the color stated, but they are not even recognized as amethyst. One is clear with a little violet on one side and the other is also clear with a slight tinge of violet. They also fit true to size and were nice and smooth with no cracks or anything like that. However, I am very dissatisfied with the pieces I received. If they actually looked like they were made of amethyst they would get 5 stars from me, but due to the almost total lack of color I give them 2 stars.
