Review on 🔌 Phenolic Socket with Uno Ring by Peter Parks

This 3-pin switch socket does not work. I bought two of these and tried each while replacing a broken three position outlet. I had two 3-way bulbs (50, 100, 150 watts) that I tested in a work light that also had a 3-way switch and the bulbs were fine. So if you had two working lightbulbs and tried two different switch sockets and only got one light setting from each switch socket, what would you conclude? The shift knob also has too much play in the bushing so you have to find a way to compensate for that. I used a thick piece of felt padding to take up the slack, but you can also fix this by leaving enough threaded rod to rest on the inside of the bushing. You would get this "right amount" by trial and error. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging so I didn't send it back. At the moment I am using this lamp with a single sided bulb.
