The handle and construction are strong but the cutting edge isn't the best. My family makes ravioli every year (100 at a time) and the edges need to be cleaned regularly. It's okay, but my mom's similar tool cuts reliably every time. I suspect it's the choice of metal, it's a bright zinc alloy.
