Updated 7/23/18: See below Highly recommended for semi-active people like me with joint pain. I wish I had ordered this type of knee brace many years ago. The best knee brace for this still active as arthritis allows me to be a 62 year old male. I have had arthritis issues in my back, knee, elbow, wrist and hand for 3 decades. I've tried just about every lightweight, cushioned support product you can buy. I have a laundry basket full of pads that never worked, ranging from very expensive (as seen on TV, rubbish) to not very expensive. Thirty minutes after putting on these pads, I knew I had the ones I needed. The compression knit provides just enough support to keep my legs from aching and plenty of padding for my bony knees when doing carpentry and other chores around the house. I will buy a few more. Next I will continue the search for elbow pads. UPDATE 7/23/18: It's been a few months now and I wear them under my work pants almost every day. My wife has NEVER heard a word from me about my sore knees. So far this is a great product for the way I use it and more peace and quiet for the woman. I ordered another pair with a slightly different final pattern which arrived here a few days ago. I will be announcing a new pair soon. UPDATE 9/27/2018: The new last pattern works just as well for me as the old one. The new design is only more reliable when I use them around the house. They fit snugly and stay in place all day (6 to 8 hours). For example, I'm installing a new baseboard in a room and the pads work better than the much more expensive commercial knee pads I use for comfort. For athletes I would say the protection you expect will be there for activity based longevity. Thanks for reading Joe.
