My cat doesn't like this collar either one or the other. Maybe it's stiffness? Collars are not soft and not flexible. solid color one of the two, even more so. I noticed that the patterned one was already beginning to crumble because my cat was trying to knock it off his neck. So far he has managed to lose it 5 times in the house. I also went for the bracelet that comes with a matching friendship bracelet and it really holds up to that. He completely ignores it and hasn't lost it in the past few days. I think it's softer and weighs less. And looks better to me. I would like to return the blueberries but they have been adjusted. I also regret the color I chose. The colors are bright and gaudy for my taste. Reminds me of how poor neighborhoods in island nations paint their houses bright colors so as not to offend passing tourists. I also noticed that there are uneven seams on the inside around the edges. I recommend you check if you had the same ones and consider cutting them out. I see all the great reviews here but they just didn't work for my cat.
