Review on SYGAV Bluetooth Scanner Adapter Diagnostic by Will Anderson
May not work with most vehicles
This OBDII adapter is based on ELM327v2.1. Version v2.1 has a known connection issue with most car ECUs. I didn't know about it until I bought it and tried to get it to work on several vehicles. It connects to your phone or computer via Bluetooth, but not to the car's ECU. I've tried a 2000 GMC SUV, a 2001 Ford SUV, a 2010 Dodge pickup, and a 2014 Honda Accord. If you want ELM327 bluetooth OBDII adapter which is more reliable and likely to work, please use ELM327v1.5 adapter.
