Great for a horizontal monitor. I wish it was cheaper but it's very high quality. I wanted to use it for a vertical monitor and it works well for that. The problem was with my mount so I'm sure this product is fine for vertical mounting. Since the VESA mount is expected to be in the center of the monitor, which mounts it to the bottom (or right in my case) of the monitor, it kept tilting and didn't have a chance to tighten that adjustment. I ended up putting an unused allen wrench in the joint to keep it from turning, which mostly worked. But as said, it's not really this product's fault, other than making the VESA mount in a weird spot on the monitor. . ViewSonic is more to blame for the missing VESA holes.
