Works well but too expensive. Check for comparability!

Plain and simple, it does the job it was designed for. I used it to mount the monitor on the wall in the kitchen so it can be used for both the computer and TV while cooking. I am using this model on a Viewsonic monitor but be sure to check the model numbers as they are not always unique on Revain. The main disadvantage is the exorbitant price. There are not many companies

Powered by Acer HA230

I've looked through all the VESA mounts hoping to find one for my Acer HA230 (I use it as a second monitor). I kept looking for one that said "Powered by HA230". Nobody said anything about this model. The insert in which it is attached to the monitor in the pictures looked the same as on the original Acer base. So I swallowed the bullet and bought it. To my surprise it worked! The arm is a little tight, but there is no damage in the monitor. He feels safe.

Great product, wish it could be cheaper, works for vertical (mostly)

Great for a horizontal monitor. I wish it was cheaper but it's very high quality. I wanted to use it for a vertical monitor and it works well for that. The problem was with my mount so I'm sure this product is fine for vertical mounting. Since the VESA mount is expected to be in the center of the monitor, which mounts it to the bottom (or right in my case) of the monitor, it kept tilting and didn't have a chance to tighten that adjustment. I ended up putting an unused allen wrench in the joint…
