I just picked it up too! My ironing board is 54 cm long. I put it on the boron and there was no space left! I had to pull and pull to attach it to the end of the board!

Perfect fit for a standard full size ironing board. It takes a little effort to stretch it enough to put it on. It then sits snugly and even has two velcro straps on the bottom to keep it in place even better.

I replaced an antique (literally) old board that was very, very heavy with a small, light (and wobbly) one. Worried this might not fit on the smaller board - but it really does. Not the easiest I've ever installed, but one day it fits perfectly and looks amazing!

Product is well made and fits 54 inches exactly. My only complaint is that it's a little sticky depending on the material and some garments will stick to the finish when trying to peel it off after ironing a garment. Hopefully these problems will go away over time. Great product for this price.

If you're looking for a great brand that's about twice the price of this then I'd say go for it. I used to buy Dritz at my local sewing store but I don't see any quality difference with this one. In fact, I like this one a bit more because the velcro straps really help keep the case in place. It's worth it!

The main differences were the thickness of the padding, the thermal surface and the size/tightening mechanisms: All laces (some also have straps with buckle or Velcro® closures). Judging by the reviews, an additional fastener is often required (preferably Velcro, given the slight inaccessibility under the ironing board). Conclusion:
