I've been wearing leather jackets of different styles for a long time. Biker jackets don't have to be huge because they swell up when you wear them while riding. However, a certain level of comfort can be expected from a biker-style jacket. LEATHER QUALITY This is a high quality leather used in this coat. It is of good thickness, very durable and well made. STYLE The style of this jacket is really nice. Unfortunately, the proportions are wrong. The jacket itself is quite fitted and pretty and has a zip lining. There are plenty of pockets and zips making this jacket really handy for cyclists or even carrying around instead of a handbag. FITPutting on this jacket is where the problems lie. I wear a size 14-16 Miss US jacket and this 2XL jacket is a bit tight. I'm talking like they took the basic patterns of a small or medium jacket and forgot to increase the armholes. The armholes are too small and flat for size 2XL. The rest of the jacket is tight but that is to be expected from a biker style jacket. However, I would have expected a little more space in size 2XL. If this is worn for riding, the leather will stretch after a while due to the constant swelling of the jacket from riding. Unfortunately, this will not change the problem with the armhole and the width of the shoulders. My point is that even if you plan to use this for horseback riding, it might not work if you have very small armholes and narrow shoulders. Wear in cooler and colder weather BOTTOM LINE I love the style of this jacket and really wanted to feel more comfortable in it than I do. It's expensive to buy being that big. MY RATING IS THREE STARS. In the armholes it shouldn't be that big. I don't think the pattern for the plus sizes was drawn correctly. The upper part of the jacket in the area of the shoulders and armholes is too small. If you're overweight at all, I'm not sure going two sizes up will help you. I wear large or extra large in most US clothing, so 2XL which is tight at shoulders and armholes will not fit. PHOTOS I cannot show you a photo that illustrates the fit issues with this jacket. I had someone who was the same size as me try it on and they said the same thing - the shoulders and armholes are MUCH smaller.
