Every note of the songs I play is clearly audible. Low Medium High. From Pink Floyd to Ozzy or Rap it has a great sound except the bass sounds as good as my 20 watt Rockville, I don't mean the bass is bad just not as boomy as a larger speaker compared to it , but it has very good bass that you can hear and feel, some reviewers say it distorts as it approaches full volume but it doesn't. If you pay attention the damn thing is running on the table and what you hear is it vibrating on the table, touch the top with your finger and it stops and sounds even better. It has really good bass and the sound is great for movies, it's more for personal listening than outdoor parties, but great for a small group around a table right? The volume is almost loud, sometimes you have to turn it down close, solid, well built, already off the table, not missing a beat. The only thing that worries me is blue tooth slime, the range for that is about 12 inches. At least until it's off the table now, it seems a little better, but not by much, but it wasn't a deal-killer. I was so impressed with this little sucker that I got another one and now my friends want it so I have to keep an eye on him in case it takes another walk out the door with a new friend
