It works the way it is!
Great pen! Used it for my transfer case switch on my Jeep Grand Cherokee 01! I didn't have to use the included plastic/rubber covers, they fit perfectly on their own and I love how the set screws are pointed so they cut into the shifter shaft. Installation in 5 minutes, strong, will not hang out. I like the look too!
