Good charger charger

One of the reasons I bought this charger (now have me two of them), - rather slow loading speed. The charging current is 200 mA for AA batteries and 150 mA for AAA batteries. I don't mind charging the batteries overnight rather than a quick charge in an hour or two. Rapid charging usually causes batteries to get very hot and shortens battery life (the number of charges required). This is based on my experience and technical information. from the battery expert. This charger only causes the batteries to get warm very, very easily. The batteries slide into the slots nice and neat, and an LED for each slot that turns from red to green when completed is all you really need unless you want a fancy LCD. It uses a 120V power cord that plugs directly into a wall outlet without an AC adapter. I found that when charging 16 AA batteries at the same time, the central part of the device gets very hot. So if you're concerned about charger heat and interested in charging that many batteries at once, you can always buy two for the price and charge less than a full 16 at a time in each charger. To be honest I wouldn't say it gets very hot so it's a pretty minor detail. In general, I see no reason not to give this charger 5 stars.

Pros
  • LEDs indicate charging status: battery can not be charged, indicator flashes, charging, battery is red, fully charged, indicator is green
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
