I had pigeons on my balcony. No, really LOTS of pigeons making a home on my 13th floor apartment balcony. I used spikes, electronic zappers and brooms but nothing worked in the long run. They just looked at me with their beady little eyes.and pooped. So I had my handyman put small cup hooks every four feet around the ceiling and, using zip ties to keep everything in place top and bottom (to the railing), put this netting from ceiling to floor. It is so generous I had a lot left over but it is wide enough, and long enough, to do the whole balcony. I got the translucent one - and you can barely see it - and you can certainly see through it with no issues. The photo is at an angle so you can see it. And the pigeons.HAH.they have not tried to come back. Those beady little eyes can apparently see it just fine.
