Review on West Coast Corvette Clear Protectors by Albert Dorsett

I have a 2017 Z-51 ramp that is 3 months old. I noticed a small scratch near the Corvette badge on the rocker panel. So I bought these "shields" to prevent further abrasion. I wore them for about a week and noticed wear in new places on the rocker panels. I assumed it was a security guard. Then I remembered the Corvette owner mentioning how those guards would scrape at the sills of his Corvette. Well they do. For this reason I would not buy them. Why pay for something that doesn't meet specs but is actually causing the problem you bought to prevent? There are vertical abrasions on the edge of the protective plastic case. However, instead of the plastic sleeve that lies on top of the corvette's emblem, there are no scuffs. Also, the plastic guard is smooth with no sharp edges where it covers the insignia. I haven't identified the problem but will try to identify the problem this weekend. I'm confused, but seeing the damage these "Guardians" are doing, you can believe.
