I was struck by this product for its simplicity and sophistication. I needed a place to keep my "coffee" that wouldn't stink all over the house. I bought it thinking it was the size of my little "coffee grinder" so I was a bit surprised by the $30 label but ultimately thought it was fair for a vacuum seal but like you As you can see from the pictures, it was A LOT. more than I expected - in a good way! With just a few simple back and forth movements, the air is expelled from the chamber into the air around it, creating a vacuum inside that preserves all the flavors and smells of your contents until you open it again. I also like this torsion mechanic as it uses our own energy (the minimum amount I can add) to work rather than using electricity to do such a minimal job that doesn't contribute to pollution like the electric vacuum seals do case is. I find that if you're still storing a product with an odor, sealing will pump the odor out into the environment, but only slightly. Once you can air it out, the aroma is completely sealed with a vacuum seal. The exterior paint has a nice matte texture that adds some hold when curled, making it feel like I got over $30. Great quality, great product, fair price. This company is cool, glad they made them, especially one that doesn't have a glass panel to keep 'coffee' out of sight or smell.
