The little salt bath I took in my hermit crab tank must have been too deep because they always made sure to stay very close to the edge and were scared to really dive into it. I was feeling really bad and bought this one hoping to change that. They love it, I see them using it quite a bit and they literally go straight to the center with no fear. They are much more active with her in the pool and I think it was a much better salt bath than I used. Happy little critters make me a happy mommy of critters.
