I drive my Jeep with no top or doors and I always wear a hat. I lost a pair of hats in a mad gust of wind, took them off and then put them on a changeling to avoid losing more. Decided to try the lid latch and I'm glad I did! It holds up, is long enough not to get in the way, and has already saved the hat! Such a simple product but very useful!
