Was impressed with the quality of this TV stand. Perfect fit for older 28" Samsung UN28F400. Clear instructions and easy assembly. I only had to hang the stand over the table a bit to tighten the screws for the vertical stand, otherwise it would be awkward to install the stand. Hardened base Glass and heavy gloss black on one side, flat black on the other. Great little rubber stops for the underside of the base to keep it in place. I had to use spacers from an old wall mount as they were the right size between the (4th ) washer/screw and the tv socket but with enough choice you can do some work to get the metal plate to fit snugly in the back of the tv. The stand is heavy and should not tip over easily. I have the plate/tv in hooked into the top slots of the rack and that seems like a good height for the tv, depending on the size of the tv it might seem three we to give itere lower settings. I used a screwdriver to tighten the screws instead of the tool provided. It worked better. Very happy with this stand which now sits at the end of my 85 year old mother's bed on the hospital table and it is handy that the table can be raised and lowered to suit her preferences. The cords can be disguised relatively easily with the included Velcro straps.
