Started on Gnarly BCAAs in an effort to switch to more natural soups and switched to protein powder. I love this product PROS: 1) Solid taste. Not overwhelming, chemically shocking, vanilla. 2) Very satisfying. Useful as a snack/swap on non-training days. On training days, a shake an hour before a hard workout keeps me feeling full to the end (I know everyone's calorie needs are different). After stirring (see below) it becomes very smooth and drinkable. Virtually no pieces 4) Good mixer. I added coffee, PB, fruit. All flavors are well blended with vanilla. Again not too strong vanilla. DISADVANTAGES: 1) Rigid mixer. You have to work with the pump to mix thoroughly. After mixing, see above! 2) meaning. $51 per container seems a bit pricey for a 2-pound container with 20 servings (about $2.55 per serving). There are other powders that are cheaper with almost twice the serving size. END: Overall, I will be sticking with the Gnarly brand for the foreseeable future. A good grass fed whey protein that tastes good, is less artificial than other brands and has been a great protein soup (so far). The cost is annoying but to be honest I'm the type of person willing to pay a little more for a quality product.
