I make educational and entertaining videos for land management Instagram daily. I also make YouTube videos on artifact recovery. Serious amateur, and it's nice. There were always problems with sound and wind. This device allows me to hide my mic on 20 mph wind days and avoid the horrible high pass filters and speech enhancement in Adobe Premier Pro and avoid the horrible total loss or "voiceover" of clips that the wind is just too strong for a lot to edit. The distance is excellent. I was over 50 feet away and still am. no interference (high electromagnetic interference, urban areas) and static electricity. I'm having an issue with Filmic Pro on my iPhone XR where my battery drains quickly when I launch the app. I also have the recording app open for 5-8 hours and the phone is on when I take a video to recover artifacts. I must. the whole time. I connected an AC adapter to the charger. I purchased the Revain Apple Audio Adapter shown in the photo, which has a charging side and a headphone side. I can plug the lighting adapters into my phone's lighting jack. Then connect a standard USB charging cable to the battery cell, and then the USB charging cables in the charging splitter will light up while filming. MOVO splitter kit that allows you to use the microphone and charge it at the same time. See photo for installation. This wireless microphone is worth the money. much stronger built than other mics, twice the price of what I tested before I bought the MOVO WMX-1 kit.
