Perfect fit for my 2007 Toyota Prius.

I bought this pair of HID bulbs to replace the original bulbs in my 2007 Toyota Prius. These replacement bulbs are perfect for replacement and provide excellent light quantity and quality. One of the lights in my Prius started blinking, which I took as a sign of impending breakdown. With over 98,000 miles on my Prius without a replacement I feel very fortunate. I learned that replacing a lightbulb at Toyota could cost $500 or more, and I was determined to take on the task. Replacing those lightbulbs is not something everyone should do. As with all other Prius related things, the space to work is extremely limited and the process can be complicated. However, after learning online tutorials on the process via YouTube and PriusChat, I felt more than capable. The most efficient way to replace bulbs is to remove the headlight assembly and remove the bumper cover and grille. Sounds like a lot of hassle but now that I know how it's done I can easily complete the process of removing, replacing the bulb and reinstalling the headlight assembly in about 15 minutes per headlight. If you decide to try this, I SERIOUSLY recommend learning and studying the process first. bluish tint. The 6000 CRI version is probably closer to daylight. The OEM bulbs have a CRI of 4100, which produces a yellower, warmer light that isn't as effective for illuminating the roadway at night. I was absolutely amazed at how much better I could see after replacing these bulbs. I've read several reviews where people complained about bulbs burning out shortly after installation. As with halogen lamps, it is very important that you never touch the glass part of the lamp. Oils from your skin will cause the lightbulb to burn out in a short time. When the lamps arrived I was pleased to see that they were encased in a clear plastic case and also had a protective foam sleeve covering the glass portion of the lamp for ease of handling prior to installation. After removing the headlight assembly to replace the bulb, it was easy to make sure I didn't accidentally touch the bulb during installation. If you attempt to install without removing the headlight assembly, as some of the instructions suggest, you risk damaging the bulb due to the very tight space you have to work in. Time will tell how well these lamps hold up but I am a very happy customer for now and have saved hundreds of dollars. I would definitely go this route again in the future if I had to.
